My Review
Breathtaking illustrations and beautiful prose characterise this gorgeous picture book by David Litchfield. Bear's talent takes him away from family, friends, and home to pursue his dream, but in the end he realises that to stay true to himself he must return home. In doing so, he discovers that his friends have remained true to him too. David Litchfield is a unique talent - his artwork is so atmospheric and magical, and Bear is such a lovable character - you will wish you could sit in his light-filled forest and listen to him play! This is a stunning story with a strong, heart-warming message at it's core.
Heads Up!
This is the first of a trilogy of books by David Litchfield about the bear and his piano.
