My Review
This is a stand-out book from my childhood, and one that I kept and read with my children too - it's a very simple premise; the reader has to spot the green parrot hiding (sometimes very well!) on each page. The thing that really sells the book is the vibrant 1970s drawings which cover its pages - I just love them! It's a great book for learning colours, and an easy and quick read aloud for 2 year olds that keeps the attention and encourages interaction.
Heads Up!
This is one you will need to find secondhand....but I've included it because I love it so much!
Publisher Review
First published in 1969 and now reissued, a picture book designed to teach the difference between colours which provides text and full colour illustrations, each hiding a green parrot for children to find.
