Life Lessons
Books enable children to live someone else's life for a while. They can learn how to deal with challenge and adversity as they read of characters facing their fears and enemies with courage. They can feel someone else's pain and suffering as they read about characters living in poverty or adversity and so grow in compassion. They can experience the power of kindness or the joy of forgiveness as it is worked out in a story. In short, children can learn through books all kinds of lessons for life!

Bravery
Inspire children with characters who face their fears with courage and show grit in the face of their enemies. Every one of these books explores what true courage really looks like, and shows children what they can achieve when they choose to be brave, even when they feel afraid.
