My Review

Perfectly pitched for a younger audience, with fun and quirky illustrations and the constant challenge of seeing if you can beat Sherlock Holmes to solve the mystery, these are a fantastic introduction to the world of adult classics. The font is large, there are illustrated glossary aids through the book to help children understand some of the more antiquated elements of the stories, and the illustrations break the text up nicely, so these are never a dull read!

Heads Up!

Obviously, some of the subject matter of Sherlock Holmes - murders etc. - may not appeal to some young readers!

If you think these books will be a hit, I'd recommend buying the box set of 10 different mysteries!

Publisher Review

Complete with free audio via QR, this illustrated adaptation for children of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes is perfect for young fans of mystery and detective books and a great introduction to classics for kids aged 7+. Body thought to be that of E.J. Drebber discovered last night in empty London house... No obvious cause of death Address given as Cleveland Ohio Any information would be appreciated After a mysterious murder leaves the police baffled, the world's best amateur detective is asked to investigate. Along with his fellow lodger, Dr Watson, Sherlock Holmes sets about uncovering a quest for revenge that runs far deeper than anybody suspected.
