Heads Up!
This series is available as six individual books, of which this is the first, or in bumper editions - I borrowed my copies from the library, so you might find you can too!
Atinuke is the author of countless books for children set in Nigeria - the 'Too Small Tola' books are also great, and another favourite, for younger readers, is 'Baby Goes to Market'.
Publisher Review
From the acclaimed author of the Anna Hibiscus series comes the first three of six stories about Oluwalase, also known as the No. 1 Car Spotter. No. 1 is bright, sparky and resourceful and while spotting cars is his favourite hobby but he is also very good at solving problems in his village. Join him on his breath-taking adventures, from saving his family's goats from being eaten by a leopard to foiling a gang of car thieves!
