This is a stunningly illustrated and beautifully wise tale – one that every parent should read with their child! The book deals wonderfully with the question of how to deal with adversity, and I love the overall message that it’s not the challenges you face, but who you are with that counts. For a child to know they are loved is the greatest gift, and this is the truth that Hogtun celebrates in this book. The art work is gorgeous and really takes your breath away, and the storytelling is simple, gentle, and perfectly pitched. It really is a destined to become a classic!
