My Review

Deceptively simple, this is an inspired picture book telling the story of an ordinary, everyday crocodile who gets up, gets dressed, eats breakfast, and sets out on his commute to work. Masterfully, we are led through his journey through pictures, with plenty to spot along the way, until we begin to wonder where he could possibly be going. The ironic conclusion will definitely raise a smile!

Perfect for pre-readers, children hard of hearing, non-english speakers - and excellent for understanding storyboarding, this is a classic and very clever story!

Heads Up!

Mr Crocodile's destination - the zoo - might raise questions about keeping animals in captivity.

Publisher Review

Mr. Crocodile loves his job. Every morning he gets up with an alarm. He brushes his teeth. He chooses the right tie to match his outfit, eats a quick slice of toast, and heads off to work on a crowded train. But what is his job? The answer may surprise you. Readers will want to pore over this witty, wordless book again and again, finding new details and new stories with every reading.
