My Review

We really loved reading this huge tome of a picture bible with our kids when they were very little - it's size makes it great for sharing, and the double page spread illustrations and small amount of text on each page make it really easy for them to follow. The pictures are often close ups of people's faces and their expressions are great! It's a Bible that helps kids feel part of the story. We especially loved the way the illustrations are often from a heavenly perspective - looking down on the people below, as a reminder that this big story is God's story. It's very big, it's bold and bright, and it's my go-to Bible for very small people!

Heads Up!

There's also a 'Big Picture Family Devotional' available if you and your kids get on well with this bible.

Publisher Review

The Bible is a big book about a big God who keeps a big promise! Everyone loves a good story―especially children! But what we sometimes overlook is that the Bible is more than a collection of great stories. It is the real account of God’s love for the world. The Big Picture Story Bible presents this remarkable true story. Simple words and striking illustrations unfold the storyline of God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation. All ages will enjoy this exciting discovery of a God who keeps his big promise.
