My Review

Patricia St John is unparalleled in the world of Christian children's authors. She was prolific, and brought to life in character after character and story after story the beauty and power of the Bible's teaching on love, kindness, integrity, and the power of forgiveness. 'Treasures of the Snow' is my absolute favourite of all her books, and one I read again and again as a child, and love reading again as an adult - it will never get old, and the ending never fails to make me cry! Read it aloud with your children, or get on audiobook, or buy the book, or all three!

Heads Up!

Look out for the many other books available by Patricia St John, some for younger readers, and some aimed at teens.

Publisher Review

Lucien's teasing of Dani leads to an accident with far-reaching consequences. Annette is intent on revenge and does all she can to make life a misery for Lucien. His only friend is the old man up the mountain who recognises his skill in carving wood and gives him new hope. Set in Switzerland this story of Annett, Lucien and Dani has caught the imagination of countless children. Patricia St John's classic story of love and forgiveness is as fresh now as when it was first published in 1950.
